The evolution of our bass arrays and custom-built subs

Our very first bass array was created in 2007 in the Sky Kitchen. This was joined in 2012 by the "Wall of Bass" at MÄX in Wiener Neustadt, still playing brilliantly to this day. In 2015, we built the vertical 12x 15” bass array in the now unfortunately closed Auslage in Vienna. For the Techno Ball 2016, we designed eight individual, scalable 18” subwoofers, followed by another vertical array at Das Werk in 2018. In 2019, we built a 24x 15” horizontal bass array in The Loft in Vienna, followed shortly afterwards in 2020 by KiK Ried im Innkreis in Upper Austria, where we installed 8x 18” closed box subs. We continued in the same year with 8x 15“ custom-made kickfillers for BASIS in South Tyrol. In 2021, we added another sound update to the Loft with six more 15” subwoofers.

But 2022 was when things really got going, and where we started developing our “Spherical” series. What's special about these subwoofers? Instead of concrete or wood, we use Plexiglas in the construction. In 2023, we started to integrate them in a number of projects (Greith Haus, Hotel Mondschein, and Max Aicher) and, at the end of the year, developed the “Wave of Bass” in Bratislava: a horizontal bass array consisting of 16x 18” subwoofers. And as we are always striving to outdo ourselves, more projects are already in the works - to be continued soon!
