In September we joined forces with Audiowerk and PSI Audio to host an exclusive dealer training session in Vienna, focusing on their groundbreaking product: the AVAA C214, the world’s first digital active bass trap.

Despite its compact design, the AVAA C214 delivers performance comparable to a bass absorber up to 45 times its size. What sets it apart is its simplicity—no setup or calibration is required. In our experience, it excels at reducing room modes by up to 50%, making it an invaluable tool for acousticians and audio enthusiasts alike.

The AVAA C214 operates across an impressive frequency range, starting as low as 15Hz—a feat unachievable by traditional bass traps—and extending up to 160Hz.

The training session was divided into two parts:

1. A theoretical deep dive led by Roger Roschnik, CEO of PSI Audio, which provided dealers and acousticians with a solid understanding of digitally controlled bass absorption.
2. A hands-on listening session in the afternoon, where attendees had the opportunity to explore PSI Audio’s product portfolio and experience the AVAA C214’s capabilities firsthand.

This event not only showcased the innovative potential of the AVAA C214 but also strengthened the knowledge and skills of our partners, empowering them to deliver exceptional acoustic solutions to their clients.
