Alcons Audio, a professional audio company from the Netherlands, has been our longest-running partner, spanning nearly 20 years. Throughout this time, we’ve been consistently impressed by the quality, reliability, and performance of their products. Since its founding in 2002, Alcons has established itself as a leader in the pro audio market through continuous innovation and a steadfast commitment to engineering excellence.

What sets Alcons apart is its focus on substance over hype. Rather than following marketing trends, the company lets its products speak for themselves. Their portfolio is both comprehensive and versatile, ranging from the powerful LR28 line array to the compact yet exceptional VR-5 full-range loudspeakers, which we often use as monitors. Alcons also caters to niche markets, such as cinema, with the CRMS series, specifically designed to meet the unique demands of the industry.

A defining feature across all Alcons products is their patented Pro Ribbon driver technology, which delivers ultra-low distortion and true 90° horizontal coverage, extending up to 120°. This ensures consistent, high-fidelity sound reproduction, even in challenging environments.

For the Fire & Ice project in Ischgl, we implemented a total of 34 Alcons Audio loudspeakers and six Sentinel10 amplifiers, providing the ideal audio solution for a highly demanding environment. The project required a flexible and robust setup, as multiple audio sources and music genres played simultaneously across different areas of the venue. Alcons’ ability to deliver clear, consistent sound coverage—even in such a complex and dynamic setting—proved invaluable. This project exemplifies how Alcons’ technology excels in real-world applications, combining outstanding performance with unwavering reliability.

At ISE in Barcelona, Alcons Audio showcased some of its latest innovations, including the CRMSQ, a modular column-based cinema reference monitor system. Designed not only for cinema applications but also for post-production and other settings requiring extreme precision, the CRMSQ delivers exceptional audio clarity. At the heart of its performance is the RBN1203, a 12” pro-ribbon transducer that ensures distortion-free sound reproduction, allowing users to experience every detail with unmatched accuracy.

Alongside the CRMSQ, Alcons introduced the Director6, a cutting-edge 8-channel DSP amplifier. This powerful unit provides up to 700W per channel and features flexible connectivity with up to eight inputs and eight outputs, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of professional audio setups. Together, the CRMSQ and Director6 represent Alcons' commitment to pushing the boundaries of audio technology, delivering tools that meet the highest standards of precision and performance for a variety of demanding applications.
